Eric B. Jacobs Early Childhood Education Center Director, Temple Beth Sholom, Cherry Hill, NJ

After 20 years, our beloved Early Childhood Director is retiring. While she leaves behind a beautiful legacy, we are excited to welcome a new, dynamic, and engaging leader to our community. We hope that will be you!

Temple Beth Sholom (TBS) is a Conservative Synagogue located in Cherry Hill, NJ. We are an egalitarian and inclusive community affiliated with United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. Our active community is home to over 800 families and our Eric B. Jacobs Early Childhood Education Center is the hub of our community. Our vibrant early childhood education program spans from infant through kindergarten.

The ECEC Director will play a key role in enriching this experience for our children and our families. Our program is a home away from home for our children to grow and for our families to be engaged in opportunities that being part of a synagogue community provides. TBS families grow together as they participate in hands-on learning experiences that immerse them in Jewish life and develop strong relationships in our community through innovative programming.

The Director will serve as a senior staff member in a collaborative team environment with our clergy and professional staff to implement educational strategies and grow our program. As part of the management team, you'll be empowered to work with new and existing parents to make the school transition a welcome and positive experience. You will foster among the faculty an energetic and engaging environment to implement The Creative Curriculum. The Director will support current and prospective families while delivering the promise of active and creative Jewish and secular education.

Carrying on traditions from generation to generation begins with us. We are blessed to watch our children grow and to be an integral part of their earliest moments of Judaic and secular learning. Living through their imagination and creativity brings the greatest joy. We hope to find a Director who can share in this passion.
